ISABEL GUERRERO
Co-founder
Isabel brings decades of experience in international development, most recently as the Vice President of the World Bank South Asia Region. She is an economist from London School of Economics and a psychoanalyst trained at the Washington Psychoanalytic Society. Isabel teaches on Scaling Up for Development Impact at Harvard and is a Senior Lecturer in leadership at MIT.

SHAFIQ LOKHANDWALA
Leads IT and HR system design
Shafiq is an engineer from NIIT Warangal in India. He has been founder, CEO and has scaled and sold three successful software companies. The lastest, Nuview Systems, delivered HR software to over 500 US customers that had 1500 employees across 86 countries using the software in 19 different languages.

ELENA SERRANO
Lead on Communications
Elena has worked on communications for public and private institutions. Recently, she worked as a director at Chile Image Foundation, creating an identity for Chile in the world. Before that she managed communications for Latin America at the World Bank, the Central Bank of Chile and Citibank. Elena is Development Director at Alberto Hurtado Univeristy and an Executive Coach.

ZELENA JAGDEO
Handles the administrative matters for IMAGO
Zelena brings to the team more than 30 years of experience in high-level executive support roles, gained from working with senior managers at the World Bank. Zelena loves new challenges and enjoys working with people. In her spare time, she makes jewelry and has just started to play golf.

ZACHARY GREEN
Co- founder
Zachary has 30 years of experience working with grassroots organizations, helping them unleash possibilities and reach their deeper potential. He has a PhD in Clinical and Community Psychology from Boston University, and Med in Counseling from Cleveland University. He is an executive coach, Professor of Practice and the Associate Director of the Leadership Institute at the University of San Diego.

GENE DIAZ
Lead on creative education
Gene is an international educator who combines her knowledge of the creative process as a visual artist with her teaching and cross-cultural research. She has a PhD at the University of New Orleans, and a BS in Electronics Engineering at San Diego State University. Gene is a distinguished achievement professor at Lesley University, where she taught curriculum theory and arts-based education.

ELLIE WALTON
Lead Documentary and Video
Ellie is a film-maker and educator. She directs and produces documentaries with communities across Washington D.C. and is a recipient of the 2011 Mayor’s Art Award. Last year, she spent nine months in India as a Fulbright Scholar, working with adolescent girls in Gujarat. She holds a Masters in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh and a Masters in Screen Documentary from the University of London.

BILAL AHMAD
leads the design of materials and IT for Imago Bilal is trained as an economist at Punjab University, Lahore and has 10 years of
work experience on office management
and graphic design. Bilal worked at
Empowerment through Creative Integration
(ECI) and at the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation
Fund (PPAF). Before that he ran a graphic
design business that worked in book printing
and publication.


MICHAEL WALTON
Lead on Research
Michael has taught development economics at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University since 2004. He worked for 20 years at the World Bank, including as Director for Poverty Reduction, Chief Economist for East Asia, and director of two World Development Reports. He is also a visiting fellow at the Centre for Policy Research, Delhi.

ELIZABETH DASSO
IMAGO Peru
Elizabeth is a Sociologist (Catholic University-Peru) with post-graduate studies in Education from University of London and Rural management from Virginia State. She founded and directed Peru Mujer, an NGO working on leadership and legal literacy. At the World Bank, she worked as a social development specialist. Lizy’s expertise is in gender analysis and capacity building, social assessments, youth organizations and dialogue in situations of social conflict.

SHAHNAZ KAPADIA RAHAT
Lead on Capacity Building
Shahnaz has 30 years of experience creating practical tools, framework and programs for grassroots change-makers, micro entrepreneurs, local government and trainers, and managing programs and processes for national scale-up. She founded Empowerment through Creative Integration (ECI), and graduated it to a company with a grassroots reach throughout South Asia. Shahnaz recently worked with the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) as a Senior Group Head for Livelihood, Employment and Enterprise Development.

MARTIN GETZENDANNER
Martin is currently coordinator for communications and public media at Open Data Watch. Prior to this position, he was an information technology manager at World Bank, climate change information manager at UNEP, chief of information for the WHO Western Pacific Region, chief of information management at UNICEF European Headquarters, and correspondent for NBC News at the UN in Geneva.
KERRY YANG
Kerry is currently pursuing a joint Masters in Business Administration and Economic Policy at Harvard Business School and the Kennedy School of Government. Prior to graduate school, she worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in New York, specializing in debt and acquisition finance. Most recently, she worked on the portfolio team for Acumen West Africa in Accra, Ghana. She has also starred in a local Chinese television program with a viewership of 26 million. Kerry graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
